(주)웨이브피아의 이상훈 대표이사가 6월 23일 경기도경제과학진흥원에서 열린 '2026 경기 중소기업인대회'에서 중소기업 육성을 통해 국가 산업 발전에 기여한 공로로 '2026년 대한민국 중소기업인대회 유공자포상 - 산업포장'을 수훈했다.
On June 23, Lee Sang-Hun, CEO of WAVEPIA Co., Ltd., was awarded the ‘Industrial Service Medal’ at the 2026 Gyeonggi SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) Convention held at the Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator (GBSA). The award recognizes his exemplary contributions to national industrial development through the nurturing of SMEs.

He subsequently received the medal certificate and commendation through WAVEPIA Director Lee Sang-yeol, who was in attendance that day.

중소벤처기업부와 중소기업중앙회가 주최·주관한 이번 대회는 “변화를 기회로, 도전하는 중소기업”이라는 슬로건 아래, 일자리 창출과 대한민국 경제 발전에 헌신한 중소벤처기업인의 성과를 격려하기 위해 마련된 중소기업계 최대 규모의 행사 중 하나다.
Hosted and organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) and the Korea Federation of SMEs (KBIZ), the convention is one of the largest events in the domestic SME sector. Held under the slogan, “Turning Change into Opportunity, Challenging SMEs,” the gathering was organized to celebrate and encourage the achievements of venture entrepreneurs dedicated to job creation and Korea's economic advancement.
 

대한민국 중소기업인대회는 올해로 37회째를 맞이했으며, 어려운 경제 속에서도 대한민국이 세계적인 경제 국가로 나아가는 데 헌신한 중소기업인들의 노고를 치하하는 뜻깊은 자리로 만들어졌다.
Marking its 37th anniversary this year, the convention served as a meaningful occasion to honor the hard work of business leaders who have committed themselves to propelling South Korea into a global economic powerhouse, even amidst challenging economic climates.

이날 행사에는 정부 주요 인사 및 전국 중소기업인 등 300여 명이 참석했으며, 총 92점의 정부포상이 수여되었다. 그 중 웨이브피아 이상훈 대표는 화합물 반도체 기술 혁신과 내실 있는 경영을 바탕으로 대한민국 중소기업의 경쟁력을 높이고, 국가 산업의 발전에 크게 이바지한 바를 높이 평가받아 산업포장 수훈의 영예를 안았다.
The event was attended by over 300 guests, including key government officials and SME leaders from across the nation, with a total of 92 government awards presented. Among the recipients, CEO Lee Sang-Hun achieved the distinct honor of receiving the Industrial Service Medal, earning high praise for elevating the competitiveness of Korean SMEs and significantly contributing to national industry through compound semiconductor technological innovation and sound corporate management.
